I took up Tai Chi Chuan and other forms of Chinese exercise methods for their health benefits. I continue to study further to improve and better understand why these styles work.

My particular interest in Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa stems from the fact that it is a blend of different disciplines: martial, medicinal and meditative. These suit me, my history and training.

Between 1994 and 1997, I studied Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan with the London Tai Chi Chuan Association with a senior student of Master Chu. From 1997 to the present day, I have continued my studies of Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan with San Chai Tai Chi Chuan under the tutelage of Gordon Woodcock (who was a main instructor for Master Ding)

From 2006 to the present day, I have studied Xing Yiquan with Peter Warr at the Wu Kung Federation and Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa with Kevin McQuaid, Shire Hill Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa Association. See Articles.
